Happy New Year!

This is our year, 2007...the year we get our precious baby girl!

I was around 14 years old sitting in my history class learning about China, and I re-call thinking, "if there is any way it can be possible, one day I will adopt a baby girl from China". 19 years later the Lord has answered my hearts desire and He is fulfilling His purpose He placed in my heart so many years ago...

Alan has desired to adopt since the early 90's, and the Lord created the path for us to meet and we married in 2003.

While I did not know the requirements for China adoption until January 2005; the requirements are both parents need to be at least 30 years of age. We were accepted by our agency Chinese Children Adoption International {CCAI} in March of 2005; I was 30yrs old, Alan was 44, and we had been married 2 yrs when we submitted our application to CCAI.

Presently it has been 2 years since we began this process. We never imagined we would wait this long....at the same time we know the Lord is in control and we wait on His perfect will and timing.
